Acting, singing, hosting, dancing – name it, and Tasha Low can do it. Offered an artiste contract at the Singapore leg of the JYP & Alpha Asean Region Audition in 2010, Tasha traveled to Korea by herself to chase her dreams of becoming a K-Pop idol. The then seventeen-year-old Tasha debuted as the leader of SKarf, a K-pop idol group.

Her experience as a K-Pop idol was demanding and strenuous, and SKarf’s tumultuous journey resulted in its disbandment in 2014. Tasha tried to move away from the entertainment industry by becoming a sales manager upon returning to Singapore. However, her passion for the entertainment industry continued to burn as she yearned for the stage.

Deciding to let her heart lead the way, Tasha has since then shined brighter than before and never looked back. She was featured in Jack Neo’s film Diam Diam Era (2020) as a demure lady named Mei Ping. She also played Ah Dui, a Wayang performer, in the television drama series TiTouDao (2020) and is currently in the midst of filming Genie in a Cup (2022), a mandarin television series as the main female lead.

Apart from acting, Tasha had also shown her versatility when she hosted Viu’s Restaurant Secrets (2020), a variety show starring her co-host, Justin Foo. Not limiting herself to traditional forms of media, Tasha also spends time developing her online presence and displays her creativity and dance abilities on her social media platforms. Like a true diamond, Tasha was sculpted and transformed by her circumstances which made her emerge brighter than before, and she will continue to shine bright and be a star that is worth keeping a lookout for.
